After flying high against Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday, Davis County came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Wayne Falcons on Thursday, falling 7-1. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Davis County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Wayne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

Davis County will face off against Mediapolis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wayne, they will challenge Clarke at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
