Baseball Recap: Creekside Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Creekside won against Mays on Monday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Seminoles beat the Raiders by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-12. With that win, the Seminoles brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Makhi Woodhouse, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He has become a key player for Creekside: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 5-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Jakpa, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Creekside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2025.

The victory made it two in a row for Creekside and bumps their season record up to 7-12. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Mays, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season.

Creekside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mays, they are taking a road trip to take on Jonesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
