Volleyball Recap: Iowa Colony Victorious

Iowa Colony saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Del Valle Cardinals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

Kendal White paced Iowa Colony's offense, picking up six kills. White were helped by Gabrielle Martinez and Breia Dixon, who contributed eight assists each. Janae Garner controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The victory got Iowa Colony back to even at 7-7. As for Del Valle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Iowa Colony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Hays on the 22nd. As for Del Valle, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Round Rock Christian Academy on the 23rd.
