Soccer Game Preview: Thacher vs. Foothill Tech

The Thacher Toads will face off against the Foothill Tech Dragons at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thacher's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Thacher is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Cate on Thursday. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for Thacher seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2025.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Foothill Tech's offense. They lost 4-0 to Grace on Thursday. Foothill Tech haven't had much luck with Grace recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Thacher's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-3 and their overall record down to 3-6-4. As for Foothill Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Thacher skirted past Foothill Tech 1-0 in their previous meeting back in December of 2025. Do the Toads have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
