Softball Recap: Thomasville Comes Up Short

If Thomasville was riding high fresh off their 18-5 takedown of Jeff Davis on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 12-4 to the Yellowjackets on Thursday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 18-5.

Caroline Still made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Thomasville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Jeff Davis, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Thomasville is set to face off against their familiar foe Worth County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jeff Davis will challenge rival Berrien at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
