Softball Recap: Howard Comes Up Short

Howard fell victim to Rutland and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 19-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Huskies have suffered against the Hurricanes since October 12, 2020.

Howard now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rutland, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hurricanes beat Howard by a score of 17-4 later that day.
