Softball Recap: Bear Creek Comes Up Short

Bear Creek lost against D'Evelyn two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears came up short against the Jaguars, falling 20-3. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chianna Morris made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Moore, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for D'Evelyn, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Bear Creek will take on Brighton at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for D'Evelyn, they will face off against ThunderRidge at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Grizzlies have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
