Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Druid Hills' Seventh in Last Nine Outings

There's no place like home for Druid Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Trinity Christian Lions 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Devils have posted since March 3rd.

The team relied heavily on Brandon Parker, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Noah Brocklebank was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Druid Hills has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. Trinity Christian's record is now 13-7.
