Basketball Recap: Richland Skates Past Bellefonte with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richland). They blew past the Bellefonte Raiders 59-23 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-9.

Leading Richland to victory were Trinity Macey and Leyna Roman. Macey shot 60% from the field to rack up 12 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds, while Roman went 6-for-11 on her way to 14 points and three steals. With that strong performance, Macey is now averaging an impressive 4.5 steals per game. Elleigh Ladika was another key player, putting up seven points.

Richland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

The victory got Richland back to even at 2-2. As for Bellefonte, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
