Soccer Game Preview: Rickover Naval vs. Mooseheart

The Rickover Naval Seadragons will square off against the Mooseheart Red Ramblers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Rickover Naval's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Rickover Naval's offense. They came up short against Von Steuben on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Rickover Naval can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 341st, while Von Steuben are ranked 131st).

Meanwhile, Mooseheart managed to keep up with Christian Liberty until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Red Ramblers lost 4-1 to the Chargers.

Mooseheart's goal came courtesy of Evan Zeon, which was the first he's scored this season.

Rickover Naval's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Mooseheart, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
