Basketball Recap: Morrisville Takes a Loss

Morrisville lost against Kimberton Waldorf back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Morrisville Bulldogs were outmatched by the Kimberton Waldorf Bulls and fell 70-21. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-14.

Leading Kimberton Waldorf to victory were Ciara O'Hara and Camron Nixon. O'Hara dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten steals, while Nixon dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Nixon a new career-high in blocks (six). Another player making a difference was Abigail Hirschfield, who posted nine points.

Morrisville's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Kimberton Waldorf, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morrisville has already played their next contest (against Lincoln Leadership Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kimberton Waldorf and Mercy Career & Technical will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
