Soccer Recap: Ridgeview Takes a Loss

Ridgeview fell victim to Highland and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Highland Scots. While losing is never fun, the Wolf Pack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 541st, while the Scots are ranked 192nd).

Ridgeview has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Highland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-1-2.

Ridgeview wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Bakersfield Christian on the 28th.
