Basketball Recap: Perris Comes Up Short

Perris came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Aquinas Falcons 46-15. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jordyn Williams continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Aquinas, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. The Falcons are undefeated when Williams posts 15 or more points, but 0-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachelle LoBianco, who posted nine points and six steals.

Perris' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Aquinas, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Perris will be playing in front of their home fans against Citrus Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Aquinas, they will face off against Edgewood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
