Soccer Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Columbus and Hudson have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Sailors lost 7-0 to the Pirates. Columbus haven't had much luck with Hudson recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Hudson, they pushed their record up to 12-0-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Columbus has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Wahlert on the 3rd. As for Hudson, they will face off against New Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hudson will be up against New Hampton's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.31 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
