The Currituck County Knights will square off against the First Flight Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Currituck County took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Pasquotank County with a sharp 3-0 victory. The match marked the Knights' most dominant win of the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-16.

First Flight extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ella Morris. Everything went the Nighthawks' way against Hertford County on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Morris, who had 13 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

First Flight's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Currituck County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
