Soccer Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Monterey Trail Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Wolfpack have lost by exactly two goals.

West now has a losing record at 3-4-3. As for Monterey Trail, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3-3 record this season.

West and Monterey Trail's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. West and Lincoln (who has only given up 0.5 goals per game) will meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Meanwhile, Monterey Trail will challenge West Park at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025, a team that's only allowed 0.25 goals per game.
