Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Woodbury Central

Woodbury Central had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt IKM/Manning on Saturday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Wildcats not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since June 12th (when they won 12-2).

The win was the third in a row for Woodbury Central, bringing their record up to 12-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for IKM/Manning, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
