San Clemente waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They enjoyed a cozy 60-45 victory over the Trabuco Hills Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-42 back in January.

Trabuco Hills' loss came despite strong showings from Elizabeth Tapper and Kelsie Wong. Tapper went 7 of 14 on her way to 19 points and five rebounds, while Wong posted 20 points and three steals. That's the most points Tapper has posted since back in November of 2024.

San Clemente has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Trabuco Hills, they dropped their record down to 14-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

San Clemente has already played their next game, a 74-41 win against Dana Hills on the 28th. As for Trabuco Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 69-54 defeat against San Juan Hills on the 28th.
