Basketball Recap: Colton Yellowjackets vs. Notre Dame Titans
It was a good run, but the Colton Yellowjackets unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 43-35 to Notre Dame. Colton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
When it comes to explaining why Colton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Savannah Govea. Despite the final result, she scored 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Jimenez, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds.
Colton's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6. As for Notre Dame, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-16.
Colton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Notre Dame also has no future games currently scheduled.
