Recap: Centennial Apaches vs. Dominguez Dons
The Centennial Apaches fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They slipped by Dominguez 48-47 on Monday. This was payback for Centennial, who suffered a 53-25 loss the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Erin Jackson , who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 21 rebounds. The game was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Aubrianna Flowers was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with five assists and four steals.
Centennial's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Dominguez, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Centennial will be home for the holidays to greet Immaculate Heart at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dominguez will take on Carson in a holiday battle at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Carson is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
