Soccer Recap: Sierra Comes Up Short

Sierra lost against Minarets back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sierra Chieftains lost 11-1 to the Minarets Mustangs. The Chieftains were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 7-0.

Sierra dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Minarets, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sierra will welcome Yosemite at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra is facing Yosemite at the right time seeing as Yosemite is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Minarets, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Parlier at 5:30 p.m. Minarets is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
