Softball Recap: Adams City Falls to Prairie View in First Game of Season

Adams City kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Prairie View Thunderhawks, falling 18-6. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Prairie View's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Adams City will square off against Jefferson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Prairie View, they will challenge Smoky Hill at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
