Holy Names lost against California School for the Deaf back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Holy Names Monarchs were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 35-34 to the California School for the Deaf Eagles. The Monarchs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Holy Names now has a losing record at 5-6. As for California School for the Deaf, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

Holy Names and California School for the Deaf's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Holy Names will challenge Redwood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, a team that's only allowed 29.43 points per game. Holy Names' defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so California School for the Deaf's offense will have their work cut out for them.
