The Modesto Christian Crusaders will square off against the Central Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Modesto Christian was beaten by Mariposa County 52-18. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Central played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 49-13 loss at the hands of San Joaquin Memorial. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Despite the defeat, Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Quincy Moore picked up 117 receiving yards and one score.

Modesto Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
