Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bonita). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 71-39 victory over the Shalhevet Firehawks. With that win, the Bearcats brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.

It was another big night for Tressa Beatty, who went 17 for 26 on her way to 40 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Brooke Van Duyne was another key player, putting up five points along with ten boards and six assists.

Bonita pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for Shalhevet, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.
