Basketball Recap: Armstrong Takes a Loss

Armstrong was the 40-37 winner over Shaler Area when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Armstrong River Hawks had to suffer through a 56-28 loss at the hands of the Shaler Area Titans. The River Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Armstrong now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Shaler Area, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Armstrong will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Altoona at 1:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Shaler Area, they will be playing at home against Moon Area at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Shaler Area's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
