St. Francis found their leader in underclassman Maya Calfee, who almost dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten rebounds, and nine steals. Calfee hasn't dropped below two steals for 17 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Raich, who scored 19 points along with four steals.
North Monterey County is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for St. Francis, their victory bumped their record up to 18-2.
