Lutheran extended their winning streak to 12 on Friday, bumping them up to 20-4. They blew past the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies 11-1. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Addie Brightman, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Kiley Glenn, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Lutheran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mesa Ridge only posted an OBP of .250.

As for Mesa Ridge, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 14-8-1 record. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the six contests prior), but Lutheran's pitcher proved too tough.

On Mesa Ridge's side, Kailynn Fielder made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.
