At the plate, Parks Kronk-Hawley was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Cathedral Catholic put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Southwest EC as they made off with a 7-0 win. The Dons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.
The result came thanks to Kaden Kuhn's shutout, as he gave up just five hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alex Harrington, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. Ty Daniels was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Patrick Henry's record is now 20-8. As for Cathedral Catholic, their record now sits at 25-4.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Patrick Henry hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Cathedral Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
