Soccer Recap: Mt. Eden Triumphs

Mt. Eden kept a clean sheet against Moreau Catholic on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Mariners 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Mt. Eden were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Jacqueline Barriga, which was the first she's scored this season.

The win got Mt. Eden back to even at 2-2. As for Moreau Catholic, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Mt. Eden has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Leadership on the 17th. As for Moreau Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 7-1 win against St. Joseph Notre Dame on the 12th.
