Soccer Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Cedar Shoals Jaguars, falling 11-1. While losing is never fun, Commerce can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while Cedar Shoals are ranked 148th).

Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Cedar Shoals, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

As of now, neither Commerce nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
