Baseball Recap: River Ridge Comes Up Short

River Ridge fell victim to Sequoyah and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Tuesday.

River Ridge's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-13. As for Sequoyah, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: River Ridge beat the Chiefs by a score of 7-4 later that day.
