Softball Recap: Hampton Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Hampton's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Woodland Wolfpack on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 31 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hampton's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Woodland, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hampton is set to square off against their familiar foe Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodland will face off against rival Ola at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
