Norfolk never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Lincoln Northeast Rockets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-0 on Tuesday.

The result came thanks to Carlie Brandt's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Brynn Peterson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

The win made it two in a row for Norfolk and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 7 runs. As for Lincoln Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Norfolk didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-1 victory against Lincoln Southeast on the 28th. As for Lincoln Northeast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-5 loss against Kearney on the 27th.
