Softball Recap: Haskell Takes a Loss

After flying high against Chouteau-Mazie on Monday, Haskell came back down to earth. The Haymakers fell 6-1 to the Oktaha Tigers on Thursday. The Haymakers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Haskell's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Oktaha, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-3.

Haskell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oktaha, they will host Tahlequah at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Oktaha 2, Tahlequah 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
