Softball Recap: Silver Creek Raptors vs. The Academy Wildcats

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Horizon, Silver Creek was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against The Academy Wildcats as they made off with an 8-2 victory. Considering the Raptors have won five games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Rylyn Fordham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
