Basketball Recap: San Dieguito Academy Takes a Loss

San Dieguito Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 85-50 loss at the hands of the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1251st, while the Ravens are ranked 583rd).

San Dieguito Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Canyon Crest Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-10.

San Dieguito Academy will venture away from home to take on Oceanside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Dieguito Academy is facing Oceanside at the right time seeing as Oceanside is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Canyon Crest Academy has already played their next matchup (against Sage Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
