Baseball Game Preview: West Forsyth Wolverines vs. Forsyth Central Bulldogs

The West Forsyth Wolverines are taking a road trip to face off against the Forsyth Central Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. West Forsyth is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Last Monday, West Forsyth was able to grind out a solid win over Forsyth Central, taking the game 5-1.

Ryan Morgan tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.

At the plate, Colton Sweat was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Sanders Dyer was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

West Forsyth's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Forsyth Central, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-13.
