Football Game Preview: Taos Tigers vs. Espanola Valley Sundevils + How To Watch

The Taos Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Espanola Valley Sundevils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Taos has given up an average of 34.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Taos challenged Bloomfield on Friday. The Tigers were outmatched by the Bobcats and fell 65-13. Having soared to a lofty 49 points in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Espanola Valley played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 41-12 loss at the hands of Bernalillo. The Sundevils haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Espanola Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Taos, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Taos was taken down by Espanola Valley 28-0 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
