Football Game Preview: Butler Aviators vs. Harrison Wildcats

The Butler Aviators will venture away from home to take on the Harrison Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Butler took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 30-9 margin over Fairborn. The win continues a trend for the Aviators in their matchups with the Skyhawks: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Harrison over Northwest in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wildcats blew the Knights out of the water with a 34-3 final score. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Knights are ranked 419th).

Butler's record now sits at 6-4. As for Harrison, their record is now 7-3.

Butler was taken down by Harrison 38-6 when the teams last played back in August of 2019. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Aviators were down 21-0.
