The Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs will take on Drew Charter at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennesaw Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Kennesaw Mountain barely beat East Paulding the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Kennesaw Mountain hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 8-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Drew Charter was a bit more limited in their game two weeks ago. They came up short against Lovett, falling 11-1.

Kennesaw Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Drew Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Kennesaw Mountain hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .321. However, it's not like Drew Charter struggles in that department as they've averaged .384. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
