Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Loss

Tri-Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 65-22 loss at the hands of the Williams Valley Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 617th, while the Vikings are ranked 130th).

Despite the loss, Tri-Valley still got an impressive performance from Avery Miller, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards.

Tri-Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Williams Valley, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will welcome Our Lady of Lourdes Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Tri-Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Williams Valley, they will host Shenandoah Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Williams Valley's defense has only allowed 24.1 points per game this season, so Shenandoah Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them.
