St. Joseph skates past Righetti with ease

Recap: St. Joseph Knights vs. Righetti Warriors

In what's become a running theme this season, the St. Joseph Knights gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 75-38 win over Righetti. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-15.

St. Joseph's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kai Oani, who scored 19 points along with three steals. Oani hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Maava Sat, who scored 16 points along with two steals.

Righetti lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mia Munar, who scored six points.

The win (which was St. Joseph's fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for Righetti, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will take on Nipomo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Nipomo has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15. As for Righetti, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Orcutt Academy at 6:30 p.m.
