It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Buffalo ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Charleston Catholic Irish. The victory was nothing new for the Bison as they're now sitting on four straight.

Luca Signorini spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Buffalo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyler Boggess, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Buffalo's record now sits at 20-12. As for Charleston Catholic, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 21-14 record.

Buffalo will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Irish: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
