Softball Recap: Dunwoody Comes Up Short

Dunwoody and Roswell squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Dunwoody had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 9-2. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Dunwoody saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sienna Rembelos, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Dunwoody's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Roswell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

While Dunwoody had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
