Softball Recap: Woodstock Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kell, Woodstock was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Milton Eagles. This was payback for the Wolverines, who suffered a 9-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Woodstock's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Milton, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Woodstock and Milton will both be playing Paulding County the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Patriots at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
