Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Mustangs vs. Lowell Cardinals

The Lincoln Mustangs will venture away from home to face off against the Lowell Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln's defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so Lowell's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Lincoln is headed into the game having just posted their biggest win since December 13, 2024 on Thursday. They put the hurt on The Academy - San Francisco with a sharp 51-26 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lowell waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 44-33.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Lowell, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Lincoln was taken down by Lowell 56-21 when the teams last played back in January. Can Lincoln avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
