Basketball Game Preview: Big Spring Bulldogs vs. Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers

The Big Spring Bulldogs will head out to take on the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Big Spring will be strutting in after a win while Steelton-Highspire will be coming in after a loss.

Big Spring took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against James Buchanan by a score of 53-44. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Steelton-Highspire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-22 loss at the hands of Boiling Springs. While losing is never fun, the Steamrollers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 585th, while the Bubblers are ranked 105th).

Steelton-Highspire's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Big Spring, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
