Benedictine came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Brunswick Pirates by a score of 10-7. That's more bragging rights for the Cadets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Benedictine's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Brunswick, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Benedictine will take on Richmond Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brunswick, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ware County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
