Baseball Game Preview: Horizon Christian Academy Warriors vs. Lanier Christian Academy Lightning

For the second straight game, Horizon Christian Academy will face off against Lanier Christian Academy. The Warriors will welcome the Lightning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Horizon Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Horizon Christian Academy turned things around against Lanier Christian Academy on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Lightning.

Jacob Kindermann made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched 5.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Kindermann was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Cade Mathis was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

The victory got Horizon Christian Academy back to even at 9-9. As for Lanier Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
